Steele wins RNC Chair

I'm not a big fan of Steele, but he was better than Katon Dawson. Meh.

1 Why do our Republican votes always come down to "anyone but that guy"? sigh

I was just glad we didn't get Saltsman, Dawson or Duncan.

2 I was behind Steele from the beginning, but I was sweating before the 6th ballot was announced, knowing the penchant of the RNC to always make the stupid choice.

3 After an initial euphoria, I slid into a mildly positive view of Steele. I definitely favored him over anybody with that country club baggage. (WTF were people thinking?!!?)
