Time To Return A Favor

I don't have a video but if you've been watching CNN you know that the Iranian government has started "beating women until their husbands faint" and "chopping people with axes like animals" and shooting into crowds.

I think it is time for the United States to return the favor the Iranians did us in Iraq.  Certainly we could find a bunch of Iranian hardware in Iraq and return it to the people of Iran.

Also, if anyone living in any oppressive regime can read this, know that the PEOPLE of the United States stand with your attempts at freedom.  If you push hard enough you will eventually find us pushing at your back no matter how feckless our government is.

Update: This is a link at HotAir.  I wish I could find the video they played on CNN.  It was so disturbing they went to commercial immediately.  Still, their top video is some inane bullshit about fucking Jon and Kate.  Fox News is not any better.

Our media is ridiculously useless.

Looks like leaving work early was a good idea!

Yikes.  WMATA is confirming at least 2 deaths.  And as the Hammer says, when a government agency confirms deaths that quickly, there are surely many more to come.

Medical Workers in Tehran Protest Violent Protest Deaths

They know the truth about the basij. No, I don't understand it, but there is some interpretation on the sidebar of the video, explaining about the injured and death count.  The videos on YouTube are overwhelming.  My heart breaks for them all and I admire their courage and fortitude.

To Prove I'm Not Just A Reflexive Obama Hater

I'm going to say I think this is pretty cool.  Certainly, that will be a very special moment for the young lady and vastly more valuable than whatever bullshit she'd have been doing on the last day of school.

Horrible

Someone's crazy, anti-Semitic 89-year-old grandpa has gone on a shooting spree at the US Holocaust Museum.  Could someone call Ron Paul's office and make sure he's accounted for?

And, since one of my friends has already called me an ass (seriously) for pointing out how this shooting couldn't have happened due to DC's gun ban, I'll just stop there.

Moron Pundit Announces Unveiling of Giant Package

Today, Obama has announced that he is going to save or create another 600,000 jobs by expediting 10 major projects.

I'm tired of our messianic President thinking so small so I'm announcing my new stimulus.

Over the next 37 minutes I intend to save or create 155,081,000 jobs.  That's right, I'm going to save or create every fucking job in the United States in a little over half an hour.

How, you ask?  A giant package, that's how.   How big is this package?  So big that women will scream as it is unveiled.  Oh yes, this is a hefty economic bitch-splitter with the ability to beat the brakes off any recession and leave it panting and eager for seconds.

My giant package will inspire epic poetry and songs of gallantry.  Women will want it applied to them and men will wish they were the ones applying it.

That's right, once you go Pundit you'll never refund it.  Once you MP you'll always agree.  Sign up now in the comments or leave your testimonials.

Update:  9:00AM - I did it!  I saved every fucking job with my swollen package!  Next time you go to the polls, remember that you owe your employment to ME, Moron Pundit.

I'll see you in the White House.  Except alexthechick.  She has to bring her boots over for a private inspection.  After all, saving her job as a law-talking-gal was pretty awesome of me.

Hell has frozen over

Harry Reid has done something respectable.   An excerpt from the letter he signed:

Closing these dealerships will put over 100,000 jobs at risk at a time when our country is shedding jobs at an alarming rate. We also question the criteria being used to determine which dealerships should be closed and the fundamental fairness involved in this effort. It is our view that the market rather than leaving it up to the manufacturers whose poor leadership contributed to their demise. Furthermore, we believe car dealers will be key players in any effort to revive the American auto industry.

I miss the good old days...

...when these two treasonous, Castro-fellating comsymp shitheels would have been executed. What do you want to bet they get off with a relatively light sentence?

Bill did the job himself

I wanted to work in a joke about Thai tranny hookers here but I just can't bring myself to.

David Carradine committed suicide in a Bangkok hotel room either late last night or early this morning. He was in Thailand shooting a new film. I'm certain that the people honoring him at his funeral will be both more interesting and more respectable than those attending George Tiller's.

Pretty much the worst story ever

Seriously, what the hell is wrong with kids today?  They should get at least 40 years each for this, maybe life.

It was twenty years ago today

No, I'm not talking about when Sgt. Pepper taught the band to play. I'm talking about the massacre in Tiananmen Square.

I was just barely a stupid teenager then, and I knew next to nothing about international politics, but I had watched the demonstrations on CNN (which wasn't then the joke that it is today) but I knew that the people gathered in Beijing were fighting for their freedom. When I saw what was happening to the people there, when the troops and the tanks moved in and the whole thing disintegrated into a bloody mess, well, I cried. I knew that something horrible had happened to people who were standing up for something that they believed in. I knew that something horrible had happened. Even though I was ignorant of the evils of communisim at the time, I knew that it was wrong.

Update: Um, this movement where people were demonstrating for their freedom could maybe merit a mention on this anniversary from the White House, perhaps? No?
