Newt as RNC Chair?
Not sure what I think of it, if he does, the greenie nonsense stays at the fucking door.

Listen: at this point, even with Newt's idiotic green-pose, I'd take him with open arms over virtually any other option on the table (remember; weren't they talking about Michael Steele last week?)

I don't mind the whole green concept if it were cost-effective and actually based in science. I honestly, though, don't think Newt would make a bad chairman. He could possibly get the party back on track.

This was being discussed on Hugh yesterday. He pointed out something I wholeheartedly agree with, that this will keep Newt from deciding to run for President. As much as I like him as a politician, he's been as ruthless in his personal life as he has been in his political life. I like a lot that in a party chair, but I don't think he could ever win POTUS.
