InEVITAble
The McCain campaign 3AM ad,
Having been pretty much proven wrong on reading these ads once, I'm loathe to say I think doing them is too risky, but I still think you play low key and let things fester. I thought it was risky based on the potential for Hillary to smack McCain for them then, and I think now you run the risk of overdoing it enough to turn off Clinton supporters. Yes, I realize she has interest in seeing Obama tank and personal animosity, but party politics sometimes override that.

It is a little risky but how does Hillary repudiate it without coming out and saying, "I am a lying skank who will say anything to get elected"?

Not impossible, but it'd have to be her Best. Performance. Evah.

Part of the problem is that the mccain camp is trying to spend their "primary" money before the gop convention. yet another market inefficiency created by government regulation, this time as campaign finance regulation.

I expect she's going to address it this evening as part of her speech. Something along the lines of "Now, John McCain wants you to think..."
If she doesn't address it, even obliquely, it would be the same as a knife in Barack's back.

I don't know, the feeling I get is the Clintons are doing the absolute minimum to show support for Barack. I think there is some genuine hate there. I am hoping when Bill takes the stage he goes completely off script and just rips into Obama.

I think that if these ads go past the DNC convention it will be a bad idea, but I think it can only help contribute to the Best. Convention. Evuhhhhhh.

So she's not going to address it then. Seriously, I agree, I think she truly loathes him for stealing her God Given Right to be President. If I'd put up with Bill because I knew that I'd get the presidency and then some young whippersnapper comes along and steals it from me, well, it wouldn't be pretty. Not at all. Hell hath and all that jazz.
