Would someone care to translate that sentence into human years? Will he serve more than half of that "with good behavior" et al?
This is a good start, but methinks 25-to-life per the murders had a much nicer ring to it...

Once again I appear to be in the minority.
First, who cares? Are there more than 8 people in this country who cares not at all about OJ?
Yes, I know he got off after murdering two people, it happens all the time. Should I be as upset with all the other times it's happened? (Many murders go unsolved)
Leading to: This looks an awful lot like the prosecutors decided that we was guilty of the murders and deserved to be punished so they're doing it here.
That's wrong. We have our system for a reason. The founding fathers obviously knew that there would be abuses, but they prefered that "100 guilty men go free rather than 1 innocent man go to jail" (supposedly from Stuff that Franklin Said), that's the way it's set up.
You can't have prosecutors deciding to "fix" the system. That leads to cops planting evidence "because the guy's guilty" and prosecutors hiding evidence and the cops from Magnum Force.
