Everyone blames Fat Bastard (Murtha) and he deserves some blame, in addition to any and all ridicule, persecution and satire, but the real fault here lies with the USMC JAG Corps, NCIS and a military officer corps that has become so political and career oriented that throwing your own under the bus (Obama style) is seen as acceptable.  General Mattis, a guy I've heard only great things about, preffered charges on these Devil Dogs, and surprise, he got promoted.  The libs/commies/democrats have been doing their level best to imasculate the military, and the fact that this bullshit ever became a big deal is a sign that they are winning.  While all but one Marine has been essentially vindicated, their careers are all pretty much ruined and I would imagine their finances are troubled.  Very sad for America.
