Finally!
This will really come in handy when SkyNet is cleaning out the last survivors in urban areas:
Security agencies have long used the canine nose to sniff out contraband like explosives, drugs, human traffic and the like by picking up the scent of criminals’ illegal cargo. Now British scientists are developing two sensor systems that sniff out the criminals themselves by zeroing in on a specific pheromone emitted when humans are in stressful, fearful situations.

Unfucking believabile.
12 years ago I did a bunch of papers on conductive polymers (CDs).
They are great for "sniffing" stuff, they change in certain ways when they come into contact with certain substances (odors are just small amounts of the substance, you don't want to know what you're breathing in when you smell someone's number 2 in the bathroom) so they can't be fooled like dogs.
You can't cover the odor of your contraband with another substance, the CDs will still smell the contraband.
So naturally instead of looking for banned stuff, the British masters pervert that to go after people.
I no longer think they'll revolt against their masters, the time for that was years ago. Now, they just seem to accept each new outrage and whine about it but never think about pushing back.
