Looks like someone is angling for Sean Hannity's job...

2 Eh, I'd be fine with Romney. I think a lot of his wishywashiness on conservativism had to do with the fact he was Governor of MASSACHUSETTS, and had to lean a little left for them.

3 I kinda-sorta agreed, Brad, BUT (and it's a huge one) it's very difficult to explain an abomination like Romneycare even in that light. And now that Mass has it, the odds of it somehow infecting the rest of the country have gone up exponentially, I think (even if it's a trainwreck of epic proportions since the media only reports on the good sob stories where socialized medicine proved helpful to some poor, unloved, single mother that was callously cast aside by her slavemaster husband, leaving her jobless and with nine kids and only a huge amount of welfare to support herself and her brood).

4 See, McCain-Romney is a ticket I would vote for, but it isn't a ticket I'd go out of my way to get excited about.  On the other hand, if it were a McCain-Palin, McCain-Cantor, or even a McCain-[insert non-boring stale, old white guy here] and I'd be excited.

(And I don't buy that that is identity politics.  If we keep that using that argument as a basis against choosing principled conservatives, then we'll always be the "boring old white guy party."  If we were to choose a RINO like Michael Steele or Christie Todd Whitman in spite of their RINOism, that would be identity politics.)

5 I agree, Vintage--I'm voting for McCain even if Cthulhu is his running mate but I won't like it (well, maybe a little, and Cthulhu does cater to that very important Elder God demo so it might be a little identity-tinged, but that's politics).

6 Cthulhu is a net positive for me.  While I am a bit wary of his stance on the Devouring the Sanity of the Mortal issue, his support of Raping The Psyche Of Those That Dare Oppose Him makes me very enthusiastic.

7 Not a lot of ties in the Senate if Chtulu is the Veep, knowwhatimean?

And since our host hasn't put up PMB today, I'm throwing this in here. WAY cool youtube, and as a special bonus, you can watch me get my ass handed to me in the  comments!

8 If Cthulu is the VP then hell yes I'm voting for McCain.  Mainly because I don't think Cthulu would be VP for long, IYKWIMAITTYD.

9 Put me down as a Lovecraft party supporter.

I'm okay with Romney, as well, if only because Bobby Jindal isn't ready yet.

Although it would be great to see a Joe "Indians run Dunkin Donuts" Biden/Bobby Jindal VP debate.

11 I'm ok but not thrilled with Romney as vp.  I am worried that the Huck-ites will throw a fit, and I think the McCain folks understand that, so I'll actually be a little surprised if it ends up being Romney.

On the other hand, it would be nice to give Huckabee the proverbial finger.

12 Put me down for McCain/Romney. You can see Romney as President, which is what you need from the VP.
