I was disjointed in that last comment. I was trying to mock the fact Allah and now Ace's defeatism seems to tie nicely with media reports. And we know that one of the reasons The Deciders report news the way they do is to try to sow panic in the conservative side

I don't read election 'analysis' anymore.  Sitting around analyzing and griping isn't going to get conservatives elected.  Neither is just pushing whatever comes down the pipe (eg. McCain).

This is the time to be proactive and try to do something about the multitude of problems within the GOP (assuming one wants to work within the current framework).  If AP were actually interested in doing something about it, he'd be pushing for reform of the nomination process, among other things.  Apparantly, he'd rather whine and post athiest crap in order to rile up his audience.

I suppose that's good for HA readership and participation, but it does nothing to advance a conservative agenda.

6 If the attitude nationwide is anything like the local GOP organization, it's important to get involved at the grassroots level now if you really want any sort of input on candidates in 2010 and 2012.  If you left the party, now is the time to rejoin - they won't listen if you're not a party member.
