I wish I could say I'm surprised.
If they had done this while Bush was in office there would be a great deal more response from the White House and behind the scenes something would be done to get NK to back down at least 50%.
With Captain Bullshit and the Gaffe Wonder in office there will be literally no meaningful response. Other nations will take that as proof that they can finally go public with their nuclear sabers.
There will be a nuclear explosion in anger in the next 8 years. Bank on it.
