On site tests are CRAP!  You are actually taught that once you get a possitive (cuz it's almost impossible to have a false negative) you call in a seperate unit to verify before a forensic investigation, or a broad decon.

fact is that envelops, and letters and even fake powders are made up of biological material, and sometimes you get minor contamination (I used to fix mailing equipment, and there is paper dust all over the place) that might give false possitives simply because of the number of biologics that might attach to the media.

When I was fixing mailing equipment "wear a face mask" one of those worthless paper masks, Yeah, thanks, I'll suffocate rather than die from illness.  If I was given one of those little charcoal respirator thingy's Different, but I decided to just get the job done as fast as possible, brush the shit out of my teath, and stay healthy.

All of which are practices I have not kept up with since I left that job (awesome job, shitty bosses and even worse customers.)
