Recently, the debate in the Virginia State House turned to the funding of Planned Parenthood. While I am adamantly opposed to the practice of abortion, I feel as though this asshole performs a major disservice to those of us opposed to abortion when he makes  epically idiotic comments such as this.

Western Prince William Del. Bob Marshall, R-13th, says disabled children are God’s punishment to women who have aborted their first pregnancy.

He made that statement last Thursday at a press conference to oppose state funding for Planned Parenthood.

“The number of children who are born subsequent to a first abortion with handicaps has increased dramatically. Why? Because when you abort the first born of any, nature takes its vengeance on the subsequent children,” said Marshall, a Republican.

“In the Old Testament, the first born of every being, animal and man, was dedicated to the Lord. There’s a special punishment Christians would suggest.”

Ahem...

Fuck you, Delegate Bob Marshall. Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you and your fucking intolerant, theologically illiterate (more on that later) assficklingly fucked up fuckheadedness with the fuckstick of fucking common fucking decency and common sense. Fuck you for hurting the cause of those of us opposed to abortion by making foolish comments such as this. And fuck you because you proved what a cold hearted, evil person you really fucking are.

Look, Delegate Marshall, you really want to go around and tell the parents of special needs children, regardless of the circumstances, that their children are a fucking "punishment"? You really want to go there? How the fuckity fucking fucking fuck fuck of fucking human fucking decency do you fucking square opposition to abortion with telling people that their children are a fucking "punishment"?

No, Delegate Marshall, go and ask the parents of special needs children how they feel about their children, and you know what the fuck they will fucking say, almost universally, after they have finished beating YOU into "special needs"? While I can't speak from my own experience, I know several people with special needs children, and they will fucking tell you that their children are a gift and a blessing that they would never trade for the world. They will tell you that they see perfection and just as beautiful of a child as any "normal" child. And they will tell you that their special child brings them the same joy and happiness, maybe even moreso, as any other child. Oh, and they will tell you to talk to a certain former governor of Alaska on how special Special Needs children are.

Delegate Marshall, if you claim that special needs children are "punishment" for an abortion, then what about such children born to parents who never had an abortion? How do you square that one, you fucking asshole? You can't, can you? You can't, because you are simply reaching into your backwoods, holy roller, shame and hate tactics of tackling an issue.

Oh, and a special "fuck you" to the clergy who gathered with the Delegate and didn't step in when he made that comment. I guess they forgot the bit from the Bible about forgiveness and reconciliation. I guess they fucking forgot the teachings that no matter how heinous the offense, G-d will forgive them, so long as they seek forgiveness. And I guess they forgot that a certain bearded Jewish Carpenter went out of his way to offer unconditional love to all of the people, including the children, something assholes like Delegate Marshall and his band of preaching pricks conveniently ignored by mentioning that a creation of G-d, who sent his own son down to say that you must humble yourself like a child to gain admission into His Father's Kingdom, is a punishment.

Fuck you, delegate Marshall. Fuck you for hurting the pro-life casuse. Fuck you for being a hateful bigot not fully in control of theological precepts and Bible stuff. Fuck you for insulting the parents of special children. And doubleflyingfuckingly fuck you for getting me riled up. Fuck you forever, Delegate Marshall, and I hope you fucking have to answer to the special children you maligned when you come to meet your maker.
