Why the death penalty should be applied with a broad brush, part 11,000,000,631

Yeah, the guy's legally insane.  What seems to slip by the touchy-feely psycholotards is that there are a limited number of outcomes in a case like this.  One is that he somehow regains his sanity, in which case he'll either go insane again from the nature of his acts or kill himself out of guilt.  Another is that he stays locked up for the rest of his life as a burden on society as a whole, at a cost of over a hundred grand a year.  The third possible outcome is the worst one, and it's what's currently happening in Spokane - a criminally insane killer with a history of escaping was taken on a FUCKING FIELD TRIP TO A COUNTY FAIR and has managed to disappear.

The sheriff's office said Paul's medication should keep him stable for 14 days, not 48 hours as previously reported.

His brother said Paul was a high school and junior college wrestler and a martial artist who should not be approached.

Uh, just how stable is his medication keeping him if he doesn't recognize that he's a danger to society?
