What was that about the "crushing of dissent," again?

In a mostly bland article about the "Obama Action Wire," a Chicago Tribune reporter actually gets around to noting that some people are disturbed by the way the Obamatons are shouting down voices they don't want to hear:

Obama's campaign describes the system as a grass-roots truth squad that arms supporters with information. But others see an attempt to stifle free speech.

"If Barack Obama demonstrates this little regard for free speech from his opponents during the campaign, what could the American people expect from him as a president?" Ed Martin, president of American Issues Project, said in a statement.
Remind me again, which side of the political spectrum in this country is full of thugs and fascists? Which side has an army of "digital brownshirts" waiting to attack?
