Well, this is unsurprising
Manbearpig's bestest buddy, longtime fundraiser, and two-time invitee to White House inaugurations was a known asshole long before there was any attempt at distancing on the part of the Democrats.
Not that it will make any difference - heck, a presidential candidate could have terrorists holding fundraisers for him and no one on the left would blink an eye.
On a side note, if you're ever looking to...upset Fred Phelps, handing him condoms with "God loves you" written on the wrapper with Sharpie really makes him froth at the mouth.
