So I'm watching football and there was an ad for Law & Order SVU (which I will forever and always read as SUV).  Wow.  I haven't wanted to throw something through my tv so badly in ages.

The episode is apparently going to be about some talk show host who has "brainwashed" some idiot into killing a guy.  I couldn't quite tell when the host was on the stand if it was supposed to be Rush Beck or Glenn Limbaugh.  Just the 30 seconds or so that I saw made me roll my eyes so hard I thought they were going to roll out of my head.

Fuck.  You.  NBC.  I know it's not news that one of the main people in charge of the L&O franchise is an enormous lib who has openly stated that he wants to use the show to push an agenda.  What offends me is how boring and obvious and banal it all is.  Law & Order, any and all of them, is now a huge joke.  Who did it?  The white male Republican Christian businessman.  Every.  Freaking.  Time.  Seriously, it's insultingly stupid and takes all the drama out of the show.  It's like watching CSI Miami in breathless anticipation to see if this will be the episode where Caruso takes his sunglasses off dramatically. 

Fuck you NBC.  Fuck you L&O.  You hate me?  Fine.  I'll just not watch.  See, you need me way way way way more than I need you.  Oh and NBC?  How are those financials doing?  Hmmmmm?  Maybe, I'm tossing this out there as an idea, pissing off 35% or so of your target audience isn't the best idea ever.
