These are memos that were sent out by bigwigs in the Clinton campaign, and will be released as part of an article that looks at what went wrong in Camp Clinton.  I bet the Clintonistas are absolutely losing it.  They've gotta be scared to see what got released, I would be if I were them.  We know how tight they are about keeping things calculated and scripted.  It's going to be fun watching them squirm. 

The other thing to consider is the effect this could have on the Clinton supporters, particularly the ones that have the potential to stir shit up in Denver.  If there's something outrageous in these emails, it might shake the Clinton loyalists or shame them into backing away from any rebellion plans at the convention. 

It could maybe even shake up some of the McCain supporting Hillary supporters, given that Hillary's loss is their sole reason for supporting McCain.  If this Atlantic article exposes something that will destroy loyalty to Hillary, it might prove to be a boost for Obama.  I'm thinking that's the reason this was leaked.  Theoretically, McCain could be the big loser in this.
