Intolerance

Once again, the left doesn't like the result of Democracy and so, in their usual way, throw a disgusting, bigoted, violent tantrum.

I wish I could say I was surprised.  It serves as crystal clear evidence as to the immature, child-minds we're dealing with on the left these days.  Clearly they never stopped and thought about reversing the result of the election and how fun it would have been for them to be attacked in the streets, called names and branded by graffiti at there own homes.

In fact, how is it they can't see how fucking, utterly evil their behavior is?  To imagine the reverse is to imagine, on the day of the California Supreme Court decision, tens of thousands of individuals taking to the street to berate, attack and intimidate every gay person in California.  Pretty fucking awful.

What's even worse for them is how shortsighted and counterproductive this will be.  Many people will only use this as an example of how 'ammoral' and 'evil' the homosexual community is and reconciliation on the issue of gay rights will only move further away.

Nice move, dipshits.

P.S.  On the issues of rescinding the LDS Church's tax exempt status, I'm relatively agnostic.  It seems to me that they probably did overstep the letter of the law in 'advocating legislation' but not nearly as much as thousands of other churches, not-for-profits and charities have for the last century.  If you take away all of their tax exempt status, then okay.  Otherwise, quit whining and try to change the world in a slightly more intelligent way. (For the lefties who obviously can't grasp this concept, try telling people what you think and why in a calm, engaging manner and then address their concerns with comforting responses, not vitriol and name-calling.)

Wow, this hope and change is already so fucking great I'm just not sure I can stand 4 more years of it.

Update: At Classical Values you get my quote of the day on this issue:

And if it is "theocracy" to invoke a religious argument against gay marriage, then why isn't Barack Obama a theocrat, as Glenn Reynolds suggested? [In ironic imitation of the left's standard.] I don't think Barack Obama is a theocrat, any more than the Mormons or the Catholics are theocrats. But you can't just draw a line and say that Mormons and Catholics who voice religious objections to gay marriage are theocrats, but Democratic United Church of Christ members who voice the same objections are not.

There's altogether too much bigotry for comfort and too many double standards for comfort.

As usual.
