Okay.  As the Guardian reports, the proposed full-body scanners are in violation of UK child porn laws because you can see the naughty bits of young'uns, and that's bad.  Now, earlier today, my husband was reading through a friend's Facebook postings, and came across what may actually be the Best Conspiracy Theory Evah.

Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab, better known to us Morons as the crotch bomber, was not an Islamic jihadist.  In fact, Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab is a tool of the United States government.  See, the government wants to introduce full body scanners, for various reasons including the employment of pedophiles and perverts to allow them a "safe" way to get their jollies off by working for the TSA.  The best way to make this happen, according to the collective brilliance of the government, was to make something happen that would lead to a public outcry demanding the introduction of full body scanners.

As such, the croch bomber was allowed on that plane with explosive panties.  They knew that the bomb would fail to detonate, but that the public's reaction would give them a reason to start the call for full body scanners. 

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how we get perverts jobs in the government.
