Jimmy Carter says one of the stupidest things I've ever heard (again):

And this fragile truce was partially broken on Nov. 4, when Israel launched an attack in Gaza to destroy a defensive tunnel being dug by Hamas inside the wall that encloses Gaza.

I'm going to go dig a hole into his basement and when he finds me in there with a cache of machine guns I'm going to claim it was for defensive reasons.  I mean, umm... 

Yeah, I can't even think of a joke reason a tunnel into someone else's territory could be defensive.
