You know, even if this isn't a real spending cut, it's still a pretty stupid move, PR-wise.  The commercials saying that Obama and the Democrats cut funding for the families of slain police officers practically write themselves.  Seriously, you couldn't go "line by line" through the budget and find something else to cut that might look just a little bit better than this?

Good thing we have the smartest administration EVAR, huh?
