Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable President Earl Ofari Hutchinson is calling the depiction, politically mean spirited and dangerous.I haven't gone back and checked to see if Hutchinson had the same reaction to this (or any other depictions of Bush as some kind of monster and/or fascist—which in modern political parlance is a lot worse than calling someone a socialist, I might add) but I'm gonna go ahead and guess that he found the last eight years of that shit a lot less "dangerous," somehow. Yeah.

"Depicting the president as demonic and a socialist goes beyond political spoofery," says Hutchinson, "it is mean-spirited and dangerous."

This guy is the US Rep. in Austin.
And nice to see more courage on the part of other Democrats.
“I had felt they would be pointless,†Rep. Tim Bishop (D-N.Y.) told POLITICO, referring to his recent decision to temporarily suspend the events in his Long Island district. “There is no point in meeting with my constituents and listen to them and have them listen to you if what is basically an unruly mob {oh, so it's now an unruly mob. I guess Code Pink was Romper Room-ed.}prevents you from having an intelligent conversation.â€
In Bishop’s case, his decision came on the heels of a June 22 event he held in Setauket, N.Y., in which protesters dominated the meeting by shouting criticisms at the congressman for his positions on energy policy, health care and the bailout of the auto industry.
Within an hour of the disruption, police were called in to escort the 59-year-old Democrat — who has held more than 100 town hall meetings since he was elected in 2002 — to his car safely.
“I have no problem with someone disagreeing with positions I hold,†Bishop said, noting that, for the time being, he was using other platforms to communicate with his constituents. “But I also believe no one is served if you can’t talk through differences.â€
Bishop isn’t the only one confronted by boiling anger and rising incivility. At a health care town hall event in Syracuse, N.Y., earlier this month, police were called in to restore order, and at least one heckler was taken away by local police. Close to 100 sign-carrying protesters greeted Rep. Allen Boyd (D-Fla.) at a late June small-business development forum in Panama City, Fla. Last week, Danville, Va., anti-tax tea party activists claimed they were “refused an opportunity†to ask Rep. Thomas Perriello (D-Va.) a question at a town hall event and instructed by a plainclothes police officer to leave the property after they attempted to hold up protest signs.
The targets in most cases are House Democrats, who over the past few months have tackled controversial legislation including a $787 billion economic stimulus package, a landmark energy proposal and an overhaul of the nation’s health care system.
Democrats, acknowledging the increasing unruliness of the town-hall-style events, say the hot-button issues they are taking on have a lot to do with it.
Oh boo-fucking-hoo, you fucking fuckfaces. You want to fuck your voters up the ass sideways, and you are afraid to talk with them about it? How fucking arrogant is that? And to act as though, all of a sudden, people who fucking protest your fucking ass fuckingly fucked up plans are bad? What the fuck happened to your Code Pink friends who would disrupt meetings before? What the fuck was that? Our side doesn't fucking get involved in organied violence and criminal activity like they did, and yet you and your sort claimed they were exercising their First Amendment Rights to speak truth to power. Well Commodore Cockgoblin, what the fuck do you and your titfisting Astroglide Adoring Assclowns think we are doing? We are just expressing our views in the same way, but without the vandalism and violence associated with the trust fund anarchists of the 2001-08 vintage.
As I have said earlier, you ACORN fueled extra value meals of ass fuckingly fucked up fuckedness need to fucking realize that we will be every fucking where you go to stick that left wing bullshit so far up your fucking asses that even Andrew Sullivan will not want any part of it. And we will. Not. Fucking. Stop. If you think this demonstration of the First Amendment is too much for you, wait until you have to face your voters next year. ACORN's registering of the Oak Ridge Cemetery to vote won't fucking help you.
{SUPER MASSIVE ELEVENTY UPDATE!!1!1!1!} Look at what happens when Arlen Specter opens his yap to push for O-Care:
.
Yeah, fuck you with extra toppings, Senator.

The wholesale or "boat" price of lobsters has crashed from a peak price of about $10 a pound in the winter of 2006 -- average prices in recent years have hovered around $4.50 a pound -- to a mere $2.25 today.
Ouch. And to make matters worse, the price of lobster may drop even further, as it isn't even the peak of the lobster season. Those that catch the lobster and lobster processors are very worried that a glut of lobster in the marketplace right now is going to make lobster prices collapse.

Sgt. Crowley's daughter is 14. What. The. Ever. Loving. Hell. Is. Wrong. With. People? For the gents among us, those comments are uberbitchy. "Charmingly untrained" is cover for "slutty and white trashy". It's a catty catty swipe from a woman in her 20's towards a 14 year old girl.
When the fuck did children become fair game? What the hell is wrong with putative adults? This ass fuckery is driving me insane. This shit really bothers me when it's being said about teenage girls. I was never a huge Seinfeld fan but Elaine's comment about how girls don't fight, they just tease each other into eating disorders is funny because it's true. I maintain that there's no crueler force on Earth than a pack of 13 yo girls. And pack is the proper term, wolves would flee in terror.
So here you have a supposed adult woman taking slaps at a 14 yo girl for her looks. Nice. Real nice. It's always lovely when a person displays her lack of class for the universe to see.
Seriously, we've talked about it before, but this is why decent people are afraid to become politically active or run for office. What type of decent parent would subject his/her children to this shit? Hell, apparently it's now fine to say this about anyone's kids if those kids have the misfortune of belonging to parents who are not Of The Proper Sort. It's sickening, truly.

"Damn you, Chimpy McBu$hitler, Darth Cheney, and all your Halliburton oil cronies for poisoning Barack, Michelle, and all the anti-American tyrants they're reaching out to through State Dinners featuring delicious arugula with your deadly sludge!" I thought.
Um, it turns out that some other "tenants" of that particular residence are actually responsible.
Looks like I owe Chimpy, et al, an apology.
