No more. Not after this.
The key part?
Yet if one weighs the life of a single young woman against the accomplishments of the man President Obama has called the greatest Democratic senator in history, what is one to think?
What is one to think? I can answer that question quite simply. One is to think that the author of such a question is a moral idiot who should be shunned from all polite society.
What the ever loving fuck is wrong with people? What the hell is it that was so motherfucking special about Ted Kennedy that women are not only turning a blind eye to his longstanding history of misogyny but are actually claiming that Mary Jo's death was a small price to pay.
This is vile. It is appalling. It is disgusting. It reveals the utter loathing for individuals that lies at the heart of much liberal thought. For the first time in my life I'm actually tempted to burn some books. Generally, I keep a firm distinction between the artist and the works, if only because otherwise there would be almost nothing for me to read/watch/listen to, etc. But this is a point too far.
I cannot for the life of me comprehend speaking this out loud, let alone telling the whole world. It's nice to know I can still be shocked and horrified.
