But.....

I know I fell for the mugs game back in 2006, and 2008 to a lesser extent, that polls were deliberately skewed to oversample Democrats. Maybe it still goes on. Maybe not. But, this number is amazing.

And what is more important to realize is that once numbers and perceptions start to become cemented,  nothing, save an earth shaking incident, can shift them dramatically. I always believed that the 2006 election was lost in August/September 2005, and let's hope this is the case this time around.
