Nanny Bloomberg's blueprint to gut the Second Amendment released

Go here, read the whole thing, now, find out if your mayor is MAIG, and go from there.  A lot of what these fascists are advocating doesn't even need congressional approval, they're internal bureaucratic things that they could start doing on their own.

1 Cold.

Dead.

Hands.

When will they realize that, unlike every "I'll leave the country" threat they make, we are 100% dead fucking serious.

Well, as long as he can't export it out of NY, I'm all fer it.

NYers keep electing Democrats even after they've totally destroyed the state and are working hard to destroy NYC.

They don't realize that, with the intertubes working, finance people don't need to be in an over-taxed, over-regulated city with a huge hole where a few huge buildings used to stand.

I look forward to the day when there's a post on Failblog that's just a map of NY State.

Even then, they'll elect Dems.

Because they're fucking idiots. Anybody with half a brain left that state a couple decades ago or are just going to college and will leave when they graduate.

Don't believe me?

NYC folks voted for term limits. Bloomberg and his tame city council didn't want to term limited out so they changed the law that NYC voted for.

And then, NYC elected them back into office.

Bloomberg and his crew said, "Fuck you proles" and the proles said, "Thank you, may you have another?"

Fucking morons. They deserve what they get and I'll be here in Virginia to laugh my ass off at them.

3 Yeah, except that Bloomberg and his little fascist group are dropping millions to try and recruit PA politicos to try and flip PA into an anti state, they've recruited a shit-ton of mayors here.  They could do a lot of damage in the state, and if they can flip PA anti, they can do that shit anywhere.

Then vote the PA idjits out of office.

People get the gov't they deserve, we've been acting like iceholes for a while now, we deserve what we're getting.

NY, CA, MI and MA are all showing where we're heading if we keep electing the pols we're electing.

If we need more of an example than that, we're in big effing trouble.

5 Veeshir: MAIG was also the force behind "sting operations" in several other states. Bloomberg sent PIs to simulate illegal gun sales and then sued the dealers in NYC so he could get control of their records. So it is already a problem outside of NY.

6 What Jack said, plus, if he breaks PA, he'll break other states, especially states where there's been a rapid increase of statists and leftists, like *cough* Virginia.

Well, you're right, but since we're screwed anyway, I'm still laughing.

I'm also still rooting for an asteroid. Sort of a global "Reset" button.

Oh, as I recall, Bloomberg also tried his stunt in VA and was told to go screw.

No VA's starting to swing back to maybe not leftist.

Last election Alexandria elected a Republican to their town council and an "independent" who said she would vote like a Republican.

She works for the gov't in a non-political appointed capacity so she can't be affiliated with a party.

There were also a lot of McCain/Palin signs and bumper stickers in my neighborhood.

In front of my house, on like 1/21/09 a guy had a "Is it 1/20/2013 yet?" bumper sticker on his car and it still hasn't been keyed. (dates not exact, I have no idea when the next president will be sworn in).

I have high hopes, hopefully I'm not just high.

9 I dunno where the hell he's buying his trigger locks at $30 each for.  I paid under $30 for two identically keyed ones a few months ago.

10 A lot of PA conservatives/libertarians are pushing for a state constitutional convention (aka "con-con".  Lowman Henry and Commonwealth Foundation being two such persons/institutions that I would normally agree with.)  And they're not just asking for a limited convention, but an all-in convention with everything on the table.  I have a lot of concerns about such a scenario, including the potential to weaken PA's rather strong constitutional language about gun rights.

Some of these guys are talking term limits, recall, ballot initiatives... and all I can think is "yeah, 'cause those things worked out so well in California."

So color me a little Burkean-Conservative on the issue of a con-con in PA.
