Meta meta get your meta here
Michael Malone, who wrote that fab piece about media bias, has a pretty meta piece discussing the mechanics of how he wrote it and what happened when it was picked up by the blogosphere. Article here.
The most interesting part of it to me? This sentence "Then came Matt Drudge - the single most influential journalist in America."
I find that a fascinating admission. Whatever you think of Drudge, and I'm rather ambivalent about him, the fact is that he drives hits and he's fully capable of setting the terms of the argument. For a former old school journalist to recognize and admit this is interesting.
