From Veeshir in comments, we learn that some brilliant entrepreneur has gone ahead and created tacticool bacon.  Actually, it kind of is in the spirit of what bacon is, at least what it traditionally is (dry cured and smoked, as opposed to what is usually sold in supermarkets today, which is wet cured).
