Stupid question of the day

Since when does a mall get to 'suggest' a store's merchandise?

Obama just handed the GOP their next ad

If the GOP doesn't take that one-line sound bite and stick it in a series of ads for the 2012 election, they want to lose.

Yeah, it'll be out of context, at which time the people screaming that it's out of context can start screaming that what he really meant was that he's not interested in victory in Iran.  Hilarities ensue.

Batting your eyelashes and shaking your ass at Ahmadinejad isn't going to make him open his nuke factory to you, Obama

I'm sure President Obama is viewing this as an opportunity to show the world what Bush and the UN could have accomplished if they would have just shown a little more patience and understanding with the Iraqi inspections.

President Obama, along with the leaders of Britain and France, demanded Friday that Iran immediately allow international weapons monitors to inspect a nuclear facility the Islamic Republic acknowledges it has been secretly building for years.

Obama, joined by British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and French President Nicolas Sarkozy at the opening of the G-20 economic summit in Pittsburgh, warned Iran that it will be "held accountable" to an impatient world community if it does not fully disclose its nuclear ambitions.

"Iran has the right for peaceful power, but the size of the facility is inconsistent with a peaceful program," Obama said. "Iran is breaking rules that all nations must follow, endangering the world non-nuclear proliferation regime ... and the security of the world."

I'm getting my popcorn ready - either Ahmadinejad is going to comply (not bloody likely) or he isn't, and I'm eagerly awaiting Obama's response when Ahmadinejad doesn't bend to his stunning smile and his six-pack abs.

Democrats are stupid, part 11,000,000,721

Either that or suicidal, depending.  I mean, how crazy do you have to be to tell women they're going to have to pay more to have that time of month?

Three more under the bus

I'm thinking of starting a pool.  Buffy Wicks, Yosi Sergant, and Neil Abernathy will be the next people that Obama didn't really know.  This couldn't be more blatant if it were a direct payout.

So, 'artists', how does it feel to whore out your work?  If he leaves the money on the dresser instead of handing it to you right after a hard negotiation, does it make his cock taste better?

Oh Great, We Are So Screwed!

Now, monkeys are going around, shaking down old ladies for food, and pushing them off cliffs if they don't get their way.

Zhou Juchang fractured her hip and broke three ribs after she plunged 20 feet over the side of a cliff at Chengdu Wildlife Park when a monkey tried to steal the bags of food she had to feed them

David Frum actually writes something good

I believe the temperature in Hell just dropped a few degrees, because David Frum wrote something that actually makes sense: "Obama Heads for Foreign Policy Disaster".

From Afghanistan to Europe to Honduras to Iran and every corner of the Earth, it's a giant cluster-frak, and it's all going to come crashing down at some point.

It's not a faultless column -- it is Frum after all.  He once again perpetuates the myth of brainy Obama being too smart to believe his own rhetoric: "It remains hard to believe that the sophisticated Obama can have much personal sympathy for trade protection."

Really?  Because Obama's shown such in-depth understanding of market issues so far... oh wait.  No.  He has no idea.

Still, on a weighted Frum-scale, this is a 9.9 out of 10.

I question the timing

But, but, but...I thought that once Obambi was in office, there would be no more terrorist attacks because the entire world would love us!  And that terrorist attacks were really just fear-mongering by Chimpy McHitlerburton and Darth Cheney!

There was a lot of noise about President Obama staying in DC instead of traveling to New York for the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.  I have to wonder now if the reason he stayed in DC was to avoid making a target of himself by traveling so close to a known terrorist cell that might be making assumptions about his travel plans.  If that was the case, and an attack had been successfully carried out, would there be a similar uproar as there was from the "What did Bush know and when did he know it?" crowd?

And of course, there's the question of whether this was brought to light at this point in time to draw attention away from the flagging support for Obamacare, and garner a little much-needed support for the administration.

I'm Sorry Honduras

Via Vodkapundit we find Ralph Peters in the NY Post writing about the most reprehensible thing to happen in a long time (and that's saying something in the Age of Obama):
Our thug-worshipping diplomats figured they'd slip it by us. With the nation focused on barbecues and the beach, they announced that, if Venezuelan strongman Hugo Chavez's client, Manuel Zelaya, isn't returned to power in Honduras, the United States won't recognize the results of that country's upcoming free elections.

WTFF? Seriously, what the fuck is going on? They're too happy to recognize Iran's rigged, before and after the fact, election and never had kind words to say about the protestors who were being shot in the streets and dying "while escaping" custody but this poor country just following their Constitution is beyond the pale?  (alternatively, beyond the pail)
Whiskey Tango Foxtrotting Foxtrot?

Nice Deb has an interesting post on this too, go read it. She notes some "coincidences" that seem to tie Obama, Chavez, Zelaya, Soros, drugs, smuggling and money-laundering all together in a cum-inducing post that goes a long way to explaining why he always sides with the dictator and budding dictator. Bring a tissue. You'll feel like Merry and Pippin as the tree se... ummm, nevermind.

Imagine the fun a journalist with a budget and "sources" and stuff could have.
Too bad Obama and the rest aren't conservatives.
(edited to make sure I meant he should say nice things about the protestors being shot, not nice things about them being shot).

Yeah, but why?

They've released Obama's speech. There's nothing really objectionable and I was looking. It's just "Work hard and you will succeed".

The only thing that stood out was making America "more free and fair", but that's just because that theme bothers me. Some people are always about "What America could be", he does get into what he thinks made us great.

But my question, Why;?
Seriously, why is this necessary right now?
If you say, "Because school is starting in his first year", school hasn't started in LA, Boston and NYC. So that means the answer is, "Because he's incompetent".

So seriously, why now? Especially considering the rancorous "debate" going on over health-care where is colleagues and surrogates are out there busily calling Americans all kinds of nasty names.

This can't be true, can it?

Update
White House says "Not True".(can somebody screen shot that? It's not that I don't trust them, it's just that I don't trust them)
Original Post:
According to this commie Chinese news agency, Obama is going to have a commie-Chinese flag raising ceremony at the White House to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the commie dictatorship called the People's Republic of China.

I surely hope it's not true. It feels true though. He surely acts all nicey-nicey with dictatorships.

The next SWSNBN is emerging

This time the target is Dana Loesch.

I hope one day your children are in a situation when the only one that could save them from a tragedy is an African-American and that person does save your child. Maybe then you will think different.
Oh, and look, the lunatic is an educator!

And THIS is why schools should stay out of anything political whatsoever

Yes, they actually showed this to a school without screening it first.

Obama, stay away from my kids! part 2

I called Sandra Abrevaya's office at the Department of Education this morning since I didn't receive a response to my email asking about the content.  I was told by a secretary that the content of the speech was above their pay grade, but wasn't able to get an answer as to whose pay grade it wasn't above.  Did anyone actually think that Obama's saying that abortion decisions were above his pay grade was a good example of how they should be doing their jobs?

The White House Office of Public Engagement is not answering their phones, their voice mailbox is full, and their system kicks callers out of the wait queue after five minutes.

Letters have been faxed to the school district superintendent and to the school, and I know I'm not the only parent doing so.

Obama, stay away from my kids!

The Head Moron brings this to our attention:

Obama's going to deliver an address to all American students on September 8th.

I imagine that every school will play the broadcast and teachers will of course treat it reverentially.

I also guess that Obama will take the opportunity to boost learning generally, always an important message, but especially important for young black males to hear.

On the other hand, Obama tends to be unable to resist his partisan and/or messianic impulses.

So, you know, is it too much to ask he provide the text of the speech to parents before he delivers it so they can make an informed choice about it?

I'm not saying I don't trust you. I'm just saying -- no, I am saying I don't trust you, now that I think about it.

I've sent a letter to whitehouse.gov through their site, and also to sandra.abrevaya@ed.gov (phone number 202.401.1576) since she's listed as the contact person for the event on the ed.gov website (search the page for 'nationally', you'll find the announcement a ways down), asking for a copy of the speech. As a concerned conservative...yeah, whatever. As a parent who doesn't want stuff being shoved into my kids' heads without my approval, I'm officially outraged that an end run would be attempted around my final arbitration of the sort of education my children receive. I've called my son's school and let them know that if they plan on broadcasting the speech through the school and I have not had time to review the content, I will be pulling my son out of school for the day. Hey, grandma's going to be in town, we'll go to the amusement park for the day.  There's no TV there.

Seriously, Obamabots, if parents want their kids to spend an hour watching you, there's always TiVo.  Or you could broadcast your drivel at an hour when parents can watch it with their kids at home.
