Harry Reid just sunk Obamacare

There's no way the health care nationalization bill will get bicameral support now - Nancy will shoot it down.

The $848 billion health care bill unveiled Wednesday by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), includes a 5 percent tax on cosmetic procedures and surgeries.
I tried to find statistics for what percentage of plastic surgeons fund pro bono work from their cosmetic practices, but all I found was a bunch of posts on Yahoo Answers asking how to find doctors who perform pro bono breast augmentation.

Captain Awesome Loves The Troops. Just Ask Him.

While Presiednt Obamabean waits to see if the Cowboys can win on Thanksgiving before deciding on troop activity in Afghanistan, he did utter this support for the men and women in uniform.

You guys make a pretty good photo op,”

Look, I do not begrudge any President posing with the troops, and it (deservedly so) is a great photo op to be seen with our brave troops. But to openly utter that phrase? C'mon, Barry! That's a fucking amateur hour comment.

Eric Holder, you fucking imbecile

Do you really think that we're afraid of what Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is going to say?  Has it not even occurred to you that you're making New York a potential target?  And in light of what just happened at Ft. Hood, how in fucking hell can you say that our infrastructure is strong?

Oh, and Obama, you're an idiot too.

"I think this notion that we have to be fearful that these terrorists possess some special powers that prevent us from presenting evidence against them, locking them up and exacting swift justice, I think that has been a fundamental mistake," Obama said in an interview with CNN.
Uh, respectfully, President Obumble, this isn't about fear that the terrorists are going to stick their tongues out and waggle their fingers at our country in court.  This is about creating a completely unavoidable circus in the middle of a city that has already endured enough, and it's about your sunshiney naivete not being enough to stop terrorist attacks on American soil.  The very fact that you want to stop the investigation into Ft. Hood shows how completely unwilling you are to admit that the entire world doesn't adore you.  Get your head out of your ass.

Obama loses yet another popularity contest

I expect Obama's probably curled up in his closet right now, crying "But why don't those darned Chinese people LIKE me?!"

(Obama) came bearing a long shopping list, including Chinese support for tougher sanctions on Iran and more flexibility by Beijing on currency exchange rates, but Obama was met with polite, yet stony, silences.
This is what happens when you elect the small-town prom queen President, you stupid fucking libtards.

The Chinese also understand that President Obama is not to be trusted talking to schoolchildren, as the 'town hall' was stocked with members of the Communist Youth League and was not allowed to be broadcast live.
Now if only the 52% could recognize what the rest of the world understands, that a nation's sovereignty is something to be valued and protected and upheld.  It certainly looks like the Chinese understand it.
"Obama coming here doesn't have anything to do with us. He's the president of the United States. We're Chinese," said Yang Xiuying, a clerk at a Beijing crafts store selling dolls of Obama dressed as Superman.

Obama: Yeah, About That Tax Credit....

Wow. Who would have thought that the O-Ministration would want to tax something they "gave" to millions of people? It's almost as if this crew really likes to tax people making less than $250,000.

Most workers started receiving the credit through small increases in their paychecks in April. The tax credit was made available through new tax withholding tables issued by the Internal Revenue Service.

The withholding tables, however, do not take into account several common categories of taxpayers. And that could force some people to repay what the government gave them.

For example, a worker with two jobs gets a $400 boost in pay at each job, for a total of $800. That worker, however, only is eligible for a maximum credit of $400, so the remaining $400 will have to be paid back at tax time — either through a smaller refund or a payment to the IRS.

The IRS recognized there could be a similar problem for married couples if both spouses work, so it adjusted the withholding tables. The fix, however, was imperfect.

A married couple is eligible for an $800 credit. However, if both spouses work and make more than $13,000, the new withholding tables give them each a $600 boost — for a total of $1,200.

There were 33 million married couples in 2008 in which both spouses worked. That's 55 percent of all married couples, according to the Census Bureau.

Also, a single student with a part-time job gets a $400 boost in pay. However, if students are claimed as dependents on their parents' tax returns, they don't qualify for the credit and would have to repay it when they file their returns.

Some retirees face even bigger headaches.

More than 50 million Social Security recipients received $250 payments in the spring as part of the economic stimulus package. Those lump sum payments were intended to provide a boost for people who didn't qualify for the tax credit.

However, the payments were sent to many retirees who also received the tax credit. Those retirees will have the $250 payment deducted from their tax credit — but not until they file their tax returns next year, long after the money may have been spent.

"More than 10 percent of all taxpayers who file individual tax returns for 2009 could owe additional taxes," said J. Russell George, the Treasury inspector general for tax administration.

And what is really frustrating is how many of the people who get hit with this increase will fail to see the errors of supporting Democrat Party policies and continue the circle of stupidity.

Soooo....About That Recovery And The Reporting Of It

Thanks to this tweet from an intrepid Missouri dude, I decided to look for myself at the recovery.gov site to see if, indeed, jobs were being saved in a Congressional District that didn't exist.

Well, lookie here.
Sure enough, the O-bots are claiming that five jobs were saved in the 14th MO Congressional District. Only problem? Missouri only has nine Congressional Districts.

Uh Oh!

Now, I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt to the O-Folks and assert that maybe the five jobs saved/created/whatever came from the 14th State Congressional District. But that is dubious, since the chart also lists the "00 Congressional District" and a few other oddly numbered ones, but not every State House District. And no "00" District exists for the State House.

Double Uh Oh!

Without sounding too conspiracy minded, something tells me that something fishy may be going on with the recovery claims. Or the O-Bots will simply claim this was a misprint. Either way, "Sheriff" Biden needs to look into this.

****UPDATE**** I did a scrrencap.

Remember When Dubya Was Accused Of Cronyism?

Yeah. Glad those dark days are over. I just couldn't imagine Team Obama deliberately trying to use their positions of power to enrich their buddies and cover their tracks.

Good times. Good times.

Looks like we're not the only ones missing Dubya

From Hillbuzz:

We hope someday to be able to thank George W. and Laura in person for all they’ve done, and continue to do.  They didn’t have to head to Ft. Hood.  That was not their responsibility.

The Obamas should have done that.

But didn’t.

Wouldn’t.

Thank goodness George W. is still on his watch, with wonderful Laura at his side.

What's Next? Apologizing To The Moon For Us Landing On It?

Why do I have a feeling this will just end up as another Apology Tour Stop?

Look, I do not want to see any US President go over to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, piss on the memorials there, and otherwise mock the Japanese for what happened. But I sure as hell cannot tolerate apologizing to Japan for doing whatever we needed to stop the war. Besides, Japan has not exactly been willing to apologize to her neighbors for shit like the Comfort Women, the Rape of Nanking, the Bataan Death March, and so on, so why the fuck should we apologize for winning and stopping the slaughter? Yeah, the A-Bombs and the destruction the produced were horrible, but so fucking what? Harry Truman felt compelled to do what he needed to do, and he fucking did it. And the worst war the world had ever seen came to an end because of it.

Jeebus Titty Fucking My Friend's Stepmom In The Hayloft Christ, what the fuck is wrong with the leftist mindset that they feel compelled to apologize for every fucking thing out there, except insulting domestic political opponents?  What the fuck is wrong with American Exceptionalism, American Freedom, and the triumph of those ideals that they must apologize for it, do whatever they can to rein it in, or try to avoid mentioning it in anything but the vaguest of terms? And what the fuck is wrong with the leftist mindset that they would rather see us lowered to the level of the rest of the world than see the rest of the world elevated to our standards? I mean, if you think Cuba or Europe are such fucking awesome places to emulate, then fucking live there. You won't see us shooting at you if you try to leave.

Gah! This pile of horseshit is so aggravating, where will it stop? Where else, for what, and to whom will Obama apologize next? Your guess is as good as mine.

That's RACIST!

Seriously, it is.  I'd swear this political analyst was trying to figure out a way to conjure up the image of the lazy, shiftless black man without actually saying it.

“There may well be almost an unconscious effort on the part of the media to give Obama a bit more slack because he is more likable, because he is the first African-American president. That plays into it,” said Sherry Bebitch Jeffe, a political analyst at the University of Southern California.
Soft bigotry at its finest.

So, Are You Stimulated?

Ok, we know that the Funemployment jumped again. But remember how Obama claimed that he would "save or create" a bazillion and eleventy jobs with his Porkulus bill?

Ummm.....not so much.

  • Over 6,500 of all the “created or saved” jobs are cost-of-living adjustments (COLA), which is really just a raise of about 2% for 6,500 people. That’s not a job saved, no matter how you calculate it.
  • Over 6,000 of the jobs are federal work study jobs, which are part time jobs for needy students. As such, they’re not really “jobs” in the sense that most other federal agencies report job statistics (We don’t count full time college students as “unemployed” in the statistics.)
  • About half of the jobs (over 300,000) fall under the “State Fiscal Stabilization Fund”, which can be described like so: Your state (perhaps it rhymes with Balicornia) can’t afford all the programs it has running, but when the state government tries to raise taxes, people yell and scream and threaten to move. The federal government comes in with stimulus funds and subsidizes the state programs. Consider this a “reach-around” tax in which the state can’t raise taxes its citizens any more, but the federal government can. So the federal government just gives the state the money to keep running programs they can’t afford on their own.
  • There are, scattered hither and non, contracts and grants that state in no unclear language that “This project has no jobs created or retained” but lists dozens, if not hundreds, of jobs that have been “saved or created” by the project. It makes no sense whatsoever.
  • Not only that, but it appears as though more jobs were lost last month than Obama has "saved or created". So, in other words, no progress has been made at all under Obama. Things have actually become worse.

Over a third of the speech for 'shout outs', and seems more like his teleprompter has broken than that he's actually grieving during the last two thirds.

    Senator Bennet, you dodgy scumbag

Just who the hell do you think you represent, Senator Bennet?  The people you had arrested for seeking an audience regarding Obamacare?  Apparently not.

I can't wait for you to be a less-than-one-and-done.  You walked away from Denver Public Schools, reneging on your promise to stay the course, and now you're walking away from your own constituents.

    Beyond incomprehensible

I can't even begin to understand why someone would think setting fire to the 9/11 memorial chapel would be OK.  Unless he was told by his government that September 11 was really Green the Block day and he thought he was just doing his part to clean up the area.
