Feingold and McCain want to play around with the Constitution again

Hmmm, lemme think about that...

I think we need an Amendment that sends McCain and Feingold off on a permanent vacation to where their ideas would be broadly and eagerly accepted: Communist Russia, on a one-way trip via wormhole.

In lieu of that, present-day China would probably also be a good fit.

2 Ah, another 'WTF is wrong with Wisconsin' that they keep re-electing this sheetstain.

Does McCain really not understand that part of why he's not well-loved in conservative circles is because of the last time he paired up with Feingold?  WTF is wrong with these career politicians that they don't understand that the Constitution is the bedrock of our nation, and you'd better have a damned good reason for changing it other than because Blago's got your panties in a wad?

OT: Tim Pawlenty smacks down Rachel Maddow (and 'moderates' like my father) on the 'hypocrisy' of (R) govs taking stimulus money they were against:

Pawlenty recently appeared on MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, and fairly effectively rebutted the host’s charge that those who criticized the stimulus bill were hypocrites for accepting the funds now that it had passed.

“I have a number of responses to that argument,” Pawlenty said. “Minnesota ranks forty-sixth in terms of getting federal spending in relation to the amount of taxes paid – for every dollar we sent in to Washington, we get about 72 cents back. We’re a major payer of the federal government’s tabs, unlike many other states that I won’t mention. I say, when you’re paying the buy the pizza, it’s okay to have a slice. Now, if you were a liberal Democratic governor and you opposed military spending, are you not going to take National Guard funding? If you were a liberal who opposed No Child Left Behind, are you going to take federal funding in education? So I’m wondering why that standard is only being applied now to conservatives.”

4 WI has always been the most frustrating state for me electorally. Outside of Madison and Milwaukee, the state seems (from a distance) to be more conservative. Too bad the outstate areas can't counteract the vote fraud and liberalism in the big cities there. And what galls me is that if only a GOP Governor were there, I believe anti vote fraud rule could get through.

5 Well I am not from America and when i read this post. I am shocked. Really! America really give facilities to their citizens. Like they build a house with self storage sussex, loft conversions and underfloor heating systems. Here is Pakistan we people live on the roads. Our government don't give us any facility about residence. If any body get a home with solar pv panels. People will pay its lease easily and happily. Well Americans may be not happy with this deal but we Pakistani are always ready for this type of schemes.
