This word activist, I do not think it means what you think it means
Behind the cut for size. Here's the link, until it disappears anyway.

I wonder if they want to have people professionally protest.

Why don't you call and find out, eddie? You're local, with a local phone number.

I just got voice mail. All it was was somebody named "Lorna" and her
v/m. I told her I was interested in political activism and advancing a
progressive agenda.
We'll see if she responds.

Excellent. You can go door-to-door and tell people AGW is hooey and get paid by Algore to do it.

The lady called back and left a v/m on my cell phone.* Unfortunately, some of it was cut off, owing to my shitty cell phone.
Anyway, she said that every day this week during the workday, they (the Environmental Defense Fund) are having walk in training sessions. That right there blows ass, since I have a job, and can't get off for something like this. In my return v/m to her, I did ask if they had evening sessions, or call to action volunteering opportunities for weekends, etc. She has not responded.
The other thing that was interesting is that the address she gave was for a location in STL that sounded very familiar: the intersection of I-170 and Delmar Blvd. That intersection instantly caught my attention, since that was where the local offices for the MO Democratic Party were/are located (don't ask how I know that
).
Well, when I googled the MO Democratic Party's local address for STL, look what came up.
Now, to be fair, this address is part of an office tower complex, but the fact that the EDF and the local DNC share the same general address is interesting, to say the least.
*BTW, I need to get that v/m loaded onto a computer. When I do, you'll hear it. I just have to beep out my name when she starts her message.

Fantastic. Only pliable simpletons who are unemployed need apply. Ah, these must be the millions of jobs being saved or created.
Well, it shouldn't be too hard to counter crack-addled message these bastions of self reliance will spread. How many can even pronounce "anthropogenic." Oh, but they won't have to because this is about "green jobs" saving the forgotten black community.
This crap will cost 6 million job losses in PA alone. I'll find the link to the report I posted earlier about job losses and post it here. This argument is even easier to win.
