Okay, you Beltway shitbags want a fight with the base?

We'll fucking give you one. They're trying to sabotage Pat Toomey and now they're trying to stop Marco Rubio. We're not letting it happen. Here's Mel Martinez,

"I am endorsing [Crist]," said Martinez.

After saying "I'm not telling" Rubio not to run, he added: "I also believe he will not be successful at this time, so he might want to focus on a race he wants to win."

What a smug fucking bastard. Fuck this guy, fuck Hatch, and fuck Cornyn too. We're going to stomp you bastards come primaries.

1 I think that I can confidently state, since I live in Florida, that Mel Martinez is a RINO douchenozzle of the first order. He can be safely ignored by anybody carrying conservative bona fides.

3 We're getting mixed messages from the Powers That Be on the Toomey issue. I'm hearing (from somebody who spoke to a state committee officer in the last week) that state committee is still looking for "somebody who can win".

On the other hand, there are reports that Bob Asher is starting to accept the idea that Toomey is the candidate and has at least stopped talking smack about him and is giving pro-forma praise.
