The latest in leftist propaganda.  For those that don't know, Howard Zinn's "History"  is basically the gold standard in how leftists and Marxists view America, full of class warfare and Marxist themes, a world of oppressed peoples, crushed under the foot of capitalists and other elites.  Which is crap, but this guy is a god to much of the left, and this book manages to find its way into lots of classrooms, I imagine turning it into a movie may well see it in more classrooms. 

The problem is not so much that Zinn's leftist garbage is used in schools, its just not given any context, particularly in high school, most don't learn about historiography, that there are different interpretations of history, different philosophies and schools of thought, and that Howard Zinn's interpretation of history isn't the only interpretation of that history, and isn't necessarily the correct one, either. 

If schools are going to use books like this, they need to offer multiple interpretations of the history being written about, or make it clear that Zinn's interpretation of history is not the only one, and to not necessarily take it as God's truth.
