Crist getting destroyed in primary polls

Crist chose to tack left after Obama was elected, well,

...and so did the GOP leadership, for that matter, in their obnoxious and aggressive backing of the Bob Barker lookalike.  Fortunately, looks like Rubio looks like he's gonna crush Crist in the primary.  The question is will Crist try and find a way to sabotage Rubio in the general.  Let's hope not.

Andrew Breitbart. 'Nuff Said.

Here he is taking on Max Blumenthal.

Then, he toys with another asshole.

Folks, once again, never, ever back down. Never give an inch to them. And be fearless when they are in your presence, for they know not what to do when counterattacked.
****UPDATE!**** Well, it looks as though Daryle Lamont wasn't through being a jackass. Here he is after Breitbart destroyed him.

The Dick Cheney Commemorative King Kong Sized Brass Balls Of Awesomeness And Ass Kicking Award For Today

A while ago, somebody (and I forget who at this point. How's that for awesome fucking research?) said that gay conservatives are tougher and more manly than straight liberals. Well, given what happened today at CPAC with GOProud, and their refusal to give in to the shitheels and fuckheads who wouldn't know tolerance and acceptance if it came up and skullfucked them with the cactus of doom, I would say so.

As a result, I award GOProud the Dick Cheney Commemorative King Kong Sized Brass Balls of Awesomeness and Asskicking Award in the Field of Fucking Up The Other Guys' Shit And Being Fucking Awesome. I also give a second place award {insert award title here} to the people who booed that fucktickling fuckbaffler of fuckingly fucked up fuckheadedness and fucking fuckfluffering off the stage.

Brafuckingvo, folks! And yet again, when shitheels are stood up to, it gets noticed, and our enemies become rattled and disoriented because their playbook has been scrambled. And little by little, the meme the left has created of "Oh Noes! Teh Bigotz And Wingnutz!' loses credibility and becomes more ridiculous, and those who throw that smear around become even bigger fools than usual. That is what was and is so fucking awesome about what happened.

Another piece of WIN! for this incident is how it appears to have rattled some on the left. I will not link to the site, but as Gabe mentioned over at Moron Central,   when prominent and influential gay bloggers write the following:

To the White House, the DNC, and our leadership in Congress: You are messing with people's lives, and we know it. And the day that an anti-gay bigot gets booed at CPAC, you all better start being very afraid.

you know they are floored by what happened.

So, kudos to GOProud. Enjoy your award. And here is a musical tribute:

Fuck Bipartisanship!

Fuck bipartisanship! Fuck it forever with a day old shrimp ring soaked in pestilence. Fuck betraying what core values we might have. And fuck helping the other side when they are floundering.

That is why I am heartened by what Congressman John Boehner (Speaker in 2011?) said today.

"There aren't that many places where we can come together," Boehner, R-Ohio, told the NBC program "Meet the Press."

Republicans were elected to stand by their principles, and those principles are different than the "leftist proposals" offered by Obama and congressional Democrats, Boehner said.

And why should we work with them? Why should we in opposition give in to the majority, when doing so would mean we would openly endorse policies 180 degrees opposite to what we believe, thus betraying our principles? Why should we help our opponents, since standing (virtually) united in opposition to almost every shit sandwich (save the Porkulus. Fuck you, RINOs) and letting the Democrats ruin themselves trying to pass unpopular legislation has only caused them problems?

And let this be a lesson to any RINO squishes out there: we are watching you. You fucking fuckity fuckbagels of fucking fuckitude fucking try to help the Democrats, and it will be your fucked up futures we'll fucking use to fire up the fucktrain of fucking awesome. With a good electoral year ahead of us, now is the time to tell Nancy the Noxious to fuck off and taste the FAIL.

Thank you, Congressman. Thank you for coming out and endorsing the "Fuck you, Democrats" strategy going forward.

Who Else Might We Pick Off?

The ACU ratings are not the be-all/end-all of political scoring, but I like 'em. Here are House Democrats with a lifetime ACU score over 40.

Unfortunately that means no freshman on this list since the scores aren't in yet.

Griffith's predecessor, Democrat Bud Cramer, had an ACU score of 46.62, and the district has a Cook PVI of R+12

For reference, Senators Snowe and Collins are 47.88 and 49.55 respectively, and Ben Nelson is 47.26.

These are sorted by ACU score, so one would imagine the top of the list is more fertile ground than the bottom.  In the past I've observed that most truly moderate (as opposed to liberal) Republicans score no lower than 60.  So my working thesis is that going the other way, any Democrats higher than 40 or 50 potentially ought to be in play.

In my own home state of Pennsylvania, a guy with a 66 ACU in an R+20 district would be a respectably conservative-to-moderate Republican, so I think the House Republicans have some phone calls to make.

Believe it or not, there's a GOP win story

Yes, I'm shocked too.

Congressmen John Carter (R-TX) and Lynn Westmoreland (R-GA) yesterday introduced the Geithner Penalty Waiver Act, requiring that the IRS assess the same penalty against U.S. taxpayers that came forward in the UBS tax fraud investigation as paid by Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner for failing to pay taxes on his IMF income -- zero.

Heh.  And Indeed.

Seriously, that's the kind of political stunt that I love.  There's also a very serious equal protection point being made, either the law is the same for everyone or it's not.

Victory?

It's a Politico link, sinced they started with a hit piece on Teh Fred and recently made up their story about Palin's fees (we all saw it at Ace's), so take it for what it's worth (almost nothing, but I want it to be true so I'm running with it).

The House Republican leadership is prepared to welcome Doug Hoffman into its ranks, National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Pete Sessions (R-Texas) said Thursday, a sign that the GOP establishment is recalibrating its approach toward the contentious New York special election and the Conservative Party nominee whose candidacy has divided the party.

Now that would be cool, it could be a sign they're done with attacking their base and might actually (gasp!) start listening to them.

But I Thought Republicans Wanted to Kill All Of Teh Gheys!

Stolen from Ace's sidebar, I noticed this article from Sen Coburn, MD. Kudos to him for pitching his case against Obamacare to a constituency in an educated and thoughtful matter on how a policy will directly impact the gay community without resortin to name calling and insults.

The federal government will spend $15 billion on AIDS treatment alone this year, yet due to the inefficiencies of the public-run program, thousands will not receive appropriate care. In recent years, two patients in West Virginia and five in Kentucky died while awaiting care on waiting lists for the RWCA AIDS Drug Assistance Program. Today there are 247 Americans on waiting lists for livesaving AIDS drugs in eight states. The number is expected to reach 500 by Christmas. Those on the ADAP waiting lists are disproportionately minorities and residents of rural areas.

Sadly, the waiting lists do not tell the whole story of how care is being rationed under this program. Many other ADAP patients, while receiving care, are being denied the best treatment. Fuzeon, the AIDS drug of last resort that has been successful in treating patients who no longer benefit from other drugs, for example, has been denied to ADAP patients in our nation’s capital.

Tell me again that socialism is compassionate. Tell me again that Democrats care for gay folks, even after election day. Tell me that Obamacare won't just let people die on the vine, especially  those with ailments that really are untreatable and will ultimately kill a person sooner than normal. Tell me that, and I willl tell you to shove a microscopic disease up your wang, and fuck off.

At Least Some People Still Want To Keep Us Safe

It appears as though the American left seems bound and determined to facilitate a decline in American Hegemony as part of an Obama Administration, and to declare that anybody who opposes such as decline is anti-American.

Well, if opposing this slide is Anti-American, I guess I will join with these "un-American" types.

Oh, and if you think a weakened America is just groovy, go fuck yourself with the schwanz of a Syphilis soaked Centaur that has Equine Gonorrhea. I refuse to let my family, my country, and my world suffer through the destruction that a rise in thugs and dictators would bring just because Captain Awesome thinks he can wow the Russians, Chinese, North Koreans, Iranians, and any other castoffs from the Star Wars Cantina with his teleprompter and bling bling. Your refusal to exert American power, which is the only force that can stop the thugs of the world, is dangerous and reckless.

So fuck off, lefties, and leave the world protecting to those of us who have a fucking clue what is going on while you sit there and read your Tiger Beat magazines.

In spite of their own crippling stupidity, GOP might be able to take back House in 2010

Lefties are sweating, as well they should be, I think we'll successfully bog down any major health care initiative, the Democrats and Obama wasted their political capital with Porkulus, which, while very damaging, isn't as damaging as Marxist Medicine.  And yes, I think they could have had some disastrous state run health care plan it if they wanted it in the first four months of Obama's term, given the embarrassing slapfights on the GOP side over which one of them got to slob his knob first.

The good news for us now is that they've now got moderates and independents back to recognizing that liberals will fritter away trillions of dollars on useless shit every time you give them the chance, and liberals are going to be superfuckingpissed because they by all means should have their socialist medicine.  Thankfully, the Democrat leadership fucked up and lost one of the rare opportunities they could have made socialist medicine happen.

Is It Wrong To Say I Want To Bear Charles Krauthammer's Love Child?

I mean, even though I sometimes disagree with him, when he hammers Team Obama in this fashion, I cannot help myself.

Obama doesn't lie. He merely elides, gliding from one dubious assertion to another. This has been the story throughout his whole health-care crusade. Its original premise was that our current financial crisis was rooted in neglect of three things -- energy, education and health care. That transparent attempt to exploit Emanuel's Law -- a crisis is a terrible thing to waste -- failed for health care because no one is stupid enough to believe that the 2008 financial collapse was caused by a lack of universal health care.

So on to the next gambit: selling health-care reform as a cure for the deficit. When that was exploded by the Congressional Budget Office's demonstration of staggering Obamacare deficits, Obama tried a new tack: selling his plan as revenue-neutral insurance reform -- until the revenue neutrality is exposed as phony future cuts and chimerical waste and fraud.

Obama doesn't lie. He implies, he misdirects, he misleads -- so fluidly and incessantly that he risks transmuting eloquence into mere slickness.

Slickness wasn't fatal to "Slick Willie" Clinton because he possessed a winning, nearly irresistible charm. Obama's persona is more cool, distant, imperial. The charming scoundrel can get away with endless deception; the righteous redeemer cannot.

Take me, Charles! I am yours!

Pawlenty standing his ground on Obamacare

This morning on MSNBC's Morning Joe, potential Presidential candidate Gov. Tim Pawlenty stood his ground against Stockholm Joe Scarborough's attacks on the attacks on Obamacare:

Pawlenty has done what few Republicans have been able to do -- calmly address the concerns behind the "death panel" claims without buying into the language, but without entirely dismissing it either. He took a very loaded question and got his message across without appearing abrasive. In a world of Obama Derangement Syndrome, that's a huge plus.

I'm liking Pawlenty more and more. I'm still unclear as to what Pawlenty's overarching philosophy might be -- the "Sam's Club Republicans" concept needs fleshed out a bit -- but he's performing well so far. I certainly prefer him to Huckabee, and probably to Romney. Whereas Pawlenty may (may) turn out to be squishy in a few areas, Romney has been all over the map. I'll take consistency over rhetoric any day.

On the subject of Obama's address to Congress, when even the Associated Press is doing fact checks and calling the math "iffy", there's a problem. Matt Welch at Reason.com wrote a response that is so good and complete I wish I'd written it myself. (Reason is libertarian, not conservative.)
