The Wiki editor was a lower level employee of Internet Broadcasting Services, which provides internet service for media companies, and said the editor thought that the news was out and common knowledge.  IBS has since canned or suspended the employee.  An NBC staffer went in and scrubbed Russert's wiki entry of the information of his death quickly.  I dunno, unless he was told not to leak it, firing or suspending this person seems excessive.
