I absolutely understand how someone could find this offensive.
And yet, I can't stop giggling.
A California neighborhood reportedly is up in arms after a resident decorated his lawn with a depiction of Jesus shooting Santa Claus.
The controversial Christmas display shows Jesus pointing a double-barrel shotgun at Santa's dead body as Rudolph lays sprawled across the hood of a pickup truck nearby, WNCT reported.
Neighbors in Nipomo, Calif., called for the display to be removed, but its maker Ron Lake called it a work of art — in which Santa represents the commercialization of Christmas, the station reported.
"It's an expression of my repressed creativity," Lake told WNCT.
Police said that because Lake built the display on private property they cannot force him to take it down. Some residents plan to start a petition, the station reported.

Poor neighbors, I actually felt sorry for them........sorta. They kept putting notes in his mailbox and on his door asking him to keep up his yard because it looked bad to the rest of the neighborhood.
He finally decided to mow his lawn, in a studded g-string. No more notes asking him to keep up the lawn.
During Christmas, he actually got a note asking him to decorate his house for the holiday season (I can't for the life of me figure out what they were thinking?!?!?!). Of course, being a douche, he put up a lit-up pentagram on his roof.
The cops showed up at his door this time. He told them he knew his rights and that they could take a hike.
There was nothing they could do. He did however get left alone the rest of the time he lived there.

Why? Do they think something magical happens and the concept of "private property" gets erased if they can just get enough signatures? Fuck them. You don't like him putting up a particular display in front of his house, you've got a limited set of options:
a) ask nicely for him to take it down
b) move
c) buy his house so he moves
Of those, only b is guaranteed to work. And a might work on me except you fucksticks called the motherfucking cops. At that point I'm not taking down a goddamned thing, just to spite you tyrannical chickenfuckers.
And as far as pajama momma's friend in Utah, he may be an asshole, but I think his neighbors were even bigger assholes. Seriously, when you call the cops to get me to take down "offensive" decorations on my own goddamned house, that makes me want to become an even BIGGER asshole. In hopes of getting across to you that you have no right to shut me up just because I offend you, I will up the asshole ante until you get that clue, or you move. Either way, fine by me.

They haven't figured it out yet, have they?
Leave him the fuck alone and he won't fuck with you. All of these things he is doing are a direct result of the neighbors screwing with him. If they'd just left him alone and minded their own business, this would have never happend.
I also like the petition thing, as if the gathering of enough signatures somehow gives the neighborhood the right to dictate to this guy what he can and cannot do on his own property. That HE paid for. That HE pays the taxes on. It is to laugh.
